is in danger of being permanently
closed to dogs off leash!

Off-Leash Areas
The field, trails and the lagoon water designated area adjacent to the treatment facility are open for dog training and exercise. City park regulations apply to this area.

Map & Directions
The off-leash area is roughly bordered by the backyards of homes on Terrace Place, 4th Street, the Post Point Treatment Facility (off of McKenzie), and the waterfront (Lagoon area).

It is located just across the railroad tracks from the Port of Bellingham Marine Park.

There are two primary parking areas with trail heads located:
  • on 4th Street (between McKenzie and Donovan)  
  • off of McKenzie
The McKenzie parking lot for the off-leash area is located adjacent to the parking lot for the Post Point Treatment Facility.
